Are you ready for the feis?

Check your equipment:
 - For Girls: School Dress/Solo Dress (look for tears, stains, zipper operation, etc.)
 - For Boys: Pants & Shirt (looks for tears, stains, missing buttons, zipper operation, etc.)
 - Shoes (Check laces, sole, uppers, look for scuffs and wear)

Items you must have:
 - *Clear, Non-Glare Cardholder w/ribbon to tie around the dancer’s waist (for the competition
    number)
 - *Shoes: Ghillies, Reel Shoes, Hard Shoes

For Girls:
 - School Dress/Solo Dress & Headband
 - *Poodle Socks (a spare pair is recommended)

For Boys:
 - Pants
 - Shirt
 - Cummerbund

Optional Items (but highly recommended):
 - *Dress Bag w/compartments
 - Hairbrush/Comb
 - *Wig
 - Bobbie Pins
 - Safety Pins
 - Hole Punch
 - Ponytail Holders
 - Small Sewing Kit w/Scissors
 - Highlighter & Pen
 - *Sock Glue
 - Masking Tape & Duct Tape (for the bottom of the shoes)

Things to consider:
 - Seating isn’t usually available; you may want to bring folding chairs.
 - Food is normally available, but many bring their own to save on time and money.
 - If you have younger children with you, bring along books, paper, crayons, etc. to keep them
   busy.
 - Get there early and “stake your claim”.  You will need an area to use as home-base.
